PROFESSOR

Grayson aka “The Professor” Boucher is arguably the most popular streetball player ever. Born and raised in Keizer, Oregon, just outside the state’s capitol of Salem, his love for basketball began at age three when his father bought him a Larry Bird Hoops set. After many years, countless hours in the gym, practicing in his driveway, attending basketball camps, playing in youth leagues and AAU basketball he developed first rate skills. In his junior year in high school at Salem Academy, he was All-State selection averaging 20 points and 7 assists. Grayson was just one vote shy from league MVP. Despite impressive senior year stats, he didn’t receive any offers to play college ball. To increase his chances for a scholarship, he walked on at Chemeketa Community College. In 2003 an opportunity was presented to tryout for the And 1 Mixtape Tour. This effort to find the new undiscovered Streetball phenom included filming a nation wide contest documented on ESPN. It was on that tour that Boucher earned the nickname “Professor” from Duke Tango for schooling people on the court. He quickly shined and ended up winning the contract at the end of the season despite much competition and controversy. Fess is the only Caucasian player to ever be on team And 1. He has toured in over 20 countries worldwide and is one of the most famous streetball players of this era. Prior to joining the Ball Up Superstars, his professional career included playing in the IBL for the Salem Stampede 2005 and 2006 as well as playing in the CBA for the Atlanta Krunk for the 2007-2008 season.
